XFlow Saddles

Random Tower Packing

A modernized ceramic saddle with an optimized profile for higher void fraction, capacity, and efficiency than traditional saddles, with full acid and high-temperature resistance.

Overview

XFlow Saddles are M10’s XT (Xtreme) Series high-performance ceramic packing — a modernized saddle profile that improves void fraction, liquid spreading, and surface utilization over traditional ceramic saddles to deliver more capacity and efficiency per foot of bed.

Fired from chemical porcelain, XFlow Saddles keep the acid and high-temperature resistance that make ceramics the right material for the most demanding towers, and are an effective choice for corrosive absorption and drying service, hot-gas duty, and capacity revamps of existing ceramic beds.

Key Features

  • Optimized saddle profile for higher capacity and efficiency
  • Improved liquid spreading and surface utilization
  • Excellent acid and high-temperature resistance
  • Fired chemical-porcelain construction

Typical Applications

Acid absorption & drying towers Corrosive scrubbing High-temperature service Ceramic-bed capacity revamps
