XFlow
A high-performance plastic ring whose open, windowed geometry delivers a very high void fraction, low pressure drop, and high capacity for absorption and scrubbing service.
XFlow is M10’s XT (Xtreme) Series high-performance plastic random packing. The ring wall is opened into a lattice of windows and inward-projecting fingers that break up the closed cylinder of a conventional ring — raising the void fraction toward its practical limit while creating a dense network of drip points that continually shear and renew the liquid film.
The result is a packing that combines high capacity and low pressure drop with efficient mass transfer, well suited to high-liquid-rate absorption, stripping, and scrubbing where a conventional ring would flood or channel. The thin-walled molded construction also gives a low bed weight and excellent resistance to the corrosive chemistries these services often involve.
