Mist Eliminators

Wire mesh pad and vane-type mist eliminators that strip entrained droplets from the vapor before it leaves the vessel — protecting downstream equipment and cutting emissions.

Overview

Entrained liquid droplets carried out of a vessel rob the process of product, foul and corrode downstream equipment, and drive up emissions. M10 mist eliminators capture that entrainment before it leaves the vessel. Knitted wire-mesh pads collect fine droplets by impingement across a high surface area for high removal efficiency at low pressure drop, while vane-type (chevron) eliminators force the gas through sharp direction changes that fling out larger droplets — rugged and fouling-resistant for higher velocities and dirtier service.

Each eliminator is sized to your vessel and service — mesh density, pad thickness, or vane spacing set to the droplet range, gas velocity, and fouling tendency — and fabricated in the right material for the chemistry, from polypropylene and PTFE to stainless and exotic alloys.
