Micro Rings
A small-format ring that raises geometric surface area per unit volume for higher separation efficiency in small-diameter columns and polishing service.
Micro Rings are an OS (Old School) Series small-format random packing. Reducing the piece size increases the geometric surface area packed into each unit of bed volume, which raises separation efficiency — the reason small packings are chosen for small-diameter columns, laboratory and pilot units, and final polishing beds where stage count matters more than raw capacity.
As a traditional, well-understood shape, Micro Rings offer a dependable and economical way to add transfer units in a compact bed, and are available in the same chemically resistant polymers as the rest of the plastic line.
Key Features
- Small format gives high surface area per unit volume for high efficiency
- Well suited to small-diameter, pilot, and polishing columns
- Adds transfer units where column height is limited
- Molded in chemically resistant thermoplastics
